We have a great nice weather in Paris now, it’s getting warm (not to say hot), and the sun is shining strongly.

Here are some pictures I wanted to share with you: Jardin des Tuileries, Place Vendome and Montmartre:

There is so much to discover in this city, come on come to visit us in France to have a great time

I assisted to this private (on invitation only) gaming event the same day as I went to the Apple Expo.
This was really a great game convention, with many exclusive previews of the incoming blockbusters of the gaming industry.
Huge stands, girls, goodies, animations … everything was made to amaze the guest! Mission accomplished.

I just bought Halo 3 on that day, and I am pretty sure to buy Call of Duty 4 once I finish the 3rd one. There are so many great games incoming on the Xbox360!

I am still a bit deceived by the PS3 though, even Gran Turismo 5 didn’t looked brilliant to me: huge ingame resolution, but it looked all very static to me So I probably won’t buy it for now, inspite of its recent price drop.

Games like Project Gotham Racing 4, Sega Rally and the new incoming Need For Speed and Burnout looked way better, and more fun to me! My Xbox360 is going to live a long time with great games

Though it is the first time I assist to this conference, I must say I found nothing really interesting there. It looked like more a big shopping place for Apple fans, rather than a place where you can see great people speak on stage, talk about their experience and how the mac benefit their daily life …

The only thing that increased my interest is the live demo of the Ipod Touch !

Ce matin, en me rendant au travail, le bus s’est arrêté plus tôt que l’arrêt prévu pour Porte de Clignancourt. Après avoir marché jusqu’à l’arrêt habituel, je me suis rendu compte qu’il y avait en fait un tournage de films qui occupait toute la place ! Voici quelques photos prises à mon téléphone portable de la scène de tournage. Ambiance années 70-80 je dirais !

PS: le plus drôle a été de voir le KFC transformé en brasserie ^^

I am back “home”, in Paris !

After 15 hours of sleeps (yes I finally met Moprhée which allowed me to rest in her arms), I wake up, open my window, and see an awful GREY SKY !!!!!

Well, here is what Paris is, cold (well at least for a summer, I expect a higher temperature like in my home town: Toulon), Grey sky, hummm well damn I already miss Argentina lol !

Ok, this afternoon I go shopping on Champs Elysées, I got a bunch of things to buy !

Ce soir je vais aller voir un spectacle d’impro où le public a son mot à dire avec le groupe habituel d’amis :). Je suis un habitué, puisque cela doit bien faire la dixième fois que je vais les voir quand ils font une performance, et pourtant le spectacle étant toujours différent (principe de l’impro), je ne m’en lasse jamais !

Un spectacle que je vous recommande donc de découvrir pour bien rigoler !

Today was so warm and shiny, this is for sure, spring (if not summer) is already among us !
I went for a walk inside Paris, and I thought “ok, let’s try to enjoy the clear sky and go to the top of the Eiffel Tower to get a sight (since I actually have never been on it, it was the perfect day for it) and damn hundreds of thousands of tourists !!! LOL you won’t believe me, the queue for the stairs was extending almost til the Trocadero !

So I gave up for going on top of the Eiffel Tower After walking a few hours from Eiffel Tower to Trocadero then Champs Elysée, I did some shopping: clothes ! Yeah lol long time since I bought clothes ^^

I think I am going to like this season: beautiful city, beautiful weather, very nice girls on the street, all good !

Today is the 23rd of March, official day for the release of the Sony Playstation 3 in France.
Well, I don’t know if it is because I am getting bored by videogames, or that’s because I have seen the PS3 when it was released in Japan and in Hong-Kong, like 4 months ago, but for the first time ever, I don’t care at all about the release of a new gaming machine !

When XBOX360, Wii, Gamecube, PS2 … were out, I bought them almost the first day they came !

But not this time with the PS3 ! Maybe it is the price: 600 euros. Woh ! Have gamers became all of sudden high-class people that can afford any expansive new gadget ?
Maybe also because since I have seen games running on the PS3, I felt the difference of graphism with the XBOX360 was not that important, and it was not worth investing in a new console just for this argument !
Last thing is: “oh my goooddd, but it’s hugeee !!!!!! Where am I supposed to find some free space for this HUGE baby ???” Yeah, PS3 is FAT. Like an american (a free criticism lol -> joke). I will wait maybe for the PS3-2 so it gets slimmer.

Ok, let’s stop the blaming for now and talking about my opinion.

Today I read the news, and I felt like I was not lonely Yesterday, some promotional events were organized under the Eiffel Tower and on the Champs Elysee to start selling the PS3 at midnight. Maybe it was the cold weather that prevent many people from queuing to be the first to have the PS3, but journalists have reported that:

• 4 people bought the PS3 at the FNAC of Champs Elysee
• less than 20 people bought it under the Eiffeil Tower

Ah ah ah ah !!!!! So much buzz, promotional event with a bought coming from the Seine at midnight to stop at Eiffel Tower and start selling to the thousands of people waiting there ??? No Sony has made a dream, and they have wasted a lot of money ! France is not Japan, France is not the USA. Marketing is not all.

So to sum up, the PS3 Launch sounds already like a big failure. This doesn’t mean the console is already dead. No, I believe it might take well on the market, but not before one year or two. Just the time that the price gets lower, that people get more HDTV equipment and see unmissable games on the Sony’s console. ! XBOX360 and Wii have not to worry that much for the moment I guess.

Samedi je me suis rendu avec mon groupe d’amis habituel au Salon de l’erotisme de Paris. Bien que la sortie en soit etait marrante, on a bien rigole avec mon groupe d’amis (qui n’etait pas exclusivement masculin je tenais a le signaler ), je reste assez mitige sur ce salon.

Il y a eu quelques animations certes, des shows de strip-tease et des personnes invitees assez celebres, mais dont la presence n’apportait rien vu qu’il n’ont quasiment pas parle … mais payer 25 euros l’entree pour finalement acceder a un sex shop geant n’a rien de bien interessant. Donc non pas de rencontres avec des personnalites du X, des interviews, des conferences d’auteur au sujet de l’erotisme … telles que j’aurais pu l’attendre d’un salon professionnel.

Par ailleurs, le titre du salon est aussi assez trompeur: salon de l’ erotisme ! A mon avis cela s’apparentait plus au salon de la pornographie et du X, car il n’y avait rien de sensuel, erotique mais pas degradant ou vulgaire Dommage, moi qui aurait bien voulu en profiter pour decouvrir et apprendre certaines choses pour mes futures partenaires ^^ c’est rate.

Bon bref je n’en ai pas eu pour mon argent j’ai trouve, alors peut-etre que je cherche trop l’intellectuel et que le milieu ne s’y prete pas ?!

 Je vais mettre quelques photos dans ce post quand meme, il est toujours plaisant sur son site d’avoir de photos de femmes/hommes (je pense a mes lectrices) vetu de maniere a mettre leurs formes en valeur :o)
