IMDB Crawler / Importer: this program will fetch all the details you want (such as movie title, year, plot, writer, director, actors …) from all the movies in the well known IMDB (www.imdb.com) movie database and import all these data into your website database!

This first version (I plan to work on several bittorrent plugins for Wordpress soon) allows you to show Bittorrent Downloads on your Wordpress blog, based on any keyword you provide.
The plugin can show results from any/all of these sites: Bittorrent, Vuze, Mininova, Torrentz, Isohunt, SUMOTorrent, Monova, PirateBay, FullDls, Fenopy, BTJunkie, SeedPeer, NewTorrents, …

Wordpress Bittorrent Plugin

Some of you might remember that I worked on a bittorrent open source project some years ago, it was Torrent Trader.

I also developed several hacks for it, such as the “External Stats” hack that allow you to post external torrents, and retrieve stats for them into your Torrent Trader installation.

Today, I am glad to announce the release of the 3rd version of the External Stats hack, based onto my latest php scraper. No need to say it’s faster than any php bittorrent scraper out there and it handles both global and single scrape! It is completed integrated within Torrent Trader admin interface, and keeps all features of v2, such as defining trackers not to be scraped ….

I finished writing this crawler a few weeks ago already, but could test it on a large website not before until now.

I often work for webmasters who ask me to add specific features to their websites.

Some time ago, I worked on an open-source script that lets you start your own Bittorrent Indexer called T-Xore, to add several features to it and make it more user-friendly with many Ajax, more performant and reduce the number of bugs left out by its original author.

I have recently been working once again onto the same sources, to add a whole set of other features, and bring a new improvment to this source by rewriting totally some parts of it.

I know it has been a long time since I have not showed myself as active on the bittorrent scene and on bittorrent communities.

This month should put a milestone at my come-back I have indeed under the hand several projects I have been working on since several months. So, just stay tuned to get the latest information about my work and see my websites online soon
I will also perform a full website update soon, adding more tutorials, putting back the forum online, adding all my software, all the projects I have been working on at university this year and much more, just have to come back to France for this

Here is some code I have been working some time ago.

Basically, it is a MSN Bot which translates translate for you text from one language to another, using an online translator. So each time you send a message to him, he will reply you with the translation of the message.

This code is not 100% mine since I have used an already existing MSN library to start this project, but I have improved it and added more MSN commands. This piece of code is released for information purposes only, since working on this was a good way to understand the MSN Protocol. I really do not advise you to use this php MSN Bot on your website, PHP is really not the good language to run this kind of service (look for a C++, Java or Python bot in this case)

Toolmanwill and me have been working hard very recently to make VBTT 3 compatible with the latest Vbulletin version (3.6.1), and be the best bittorrent tracker integration software available around the web !

I personnaly think we are really close our goal, since a new beta is now available (access to betas is restricted to Premium Members) and the final version should be out very soon.

VBTT 3 is now using XBT as a backend, and of course, it is free !
